Endemic to north east Africa, the black-billed barbet (Lybius guifsobalito) is simply named for its distinctive beak. This woodland bird is found in Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
