The citron-crested cockatoo (Cacatua sulphurea citrinocristata) is the same species as the Lesser Sulphur-Crested cockatoo (Cacatua sulphurea sulphurea). The citron-crested cockatoo is classified as a subspecies of the Lesser Sulphur-Crested cockatoo. It is endemic to Sumba in the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia. It has an orange crest and light orange ear spots. The feathers under the wing and tail are yellow, and the beak is hooked.
