The white-bellied go-away-bird (Corythaixoides leucogaster) has a white belly and under-tail coverts which give it its name. It is semi-zygodactylous, meaning the fourth (outer) toe can be switched back and forth. The White-bellied go-away-bird is part of the bird family Musophagidae (banana-eaters), which includes plantain-eaters, turacos, and other go-away-birds – but they don't eat bananas. It occurs in east and north-east Africa. Go-away-birds gets the name from the distinctive call -- g'way!
