The golden-breasted puffleg (Eriocnemis mosquera) is a hummingbird of high elevation, humid montane forest and forest edge in the southwestern and central Andes of Colombia to northwestern Ecuador. Its glittering coppery breast and sides of the neck contrast with the glittering green of the rest of the plumage. Sexes are similar.
