The yellow-crowned amazon or yellow-crowned parrot (Amazona ochrocephala) has primarily green plumage, a yellow crown and forehead, and a white eye-ring. It is found in humid lowland and dry tropical forests, woodlands, savannahs, and mangrove swamps in South and Central America including Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Panama, Peru, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela.
