The Yellow-backed Chattering Lory (Lorius garrulus) - also known as Yellow-backed Lory - is endemic to the islands of Batjan and Obi (part of the Maluku group of islands). The plumage of the adult Yellow Backed Chattering Lory is generally scarlet with a large yellow patch on the back just below the mantle.
