The White throated mountain gem hummingbird (Lampornis castaneoventris) is found in Panama/Costa Rica. The adult male has bronze-green plumage except for the brilliant green crown (top of his head), white throat and blue tail. The female has a rich cinnamon under plumage and lacks the bright crown and throat of the male.
