The jungle prinia (Prinia sylvatica) has a striking black-and-white striped head and a warm brown body with pale underparts – it also constantly flicks its relatively long tail. It is always on the move —hopping, fluttering, and flicking its tail while searching for beetles, ants, grasshoppers, caterpillars, flies, and occasionally splant seeds. It belongs to the Cisticolidae family and can be found can be found in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Bhutan.
