The Santa Marta Mountain-tanager (Anisognathus melanogenys), also known as the black-cheeked mountain tanager, is a South American Tanager that is endemic to Colombia, where it inhabits subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and heavily degraded former forests. The main difference from other members of the species is the broad black cheek patch and there is a small yellow teardrop immediately below the eye.
