The Sun Conure (Aratinga solstitialis) is a medium-sized brightly coloured parrot native to northeastern South America. Its body holds a yellow to orange hue resembling a deep bright gold overlayed with brilliant blends of green and red which definitely outshine most birds in the sky. It is noted for its loud squawking compared to its relatively small size.
