Large white butterflies have white wings with broad black tips on the forewings. Females also have two black spots and a black streak on each wing. It is also known as the cabbage butterfly, cabbage white, or in India the large cabbage white. The large white is common throughout Europe, north Africa, and Asia to the Himalayas often in agricultural areas, meadows and parkland.
