The golden-fronted leafbird (Chloropsis aurifrons) is named for the fact that their mostly green and yellow plumages blend in well into their tropical habitat. Being an accomplished mimic, it can obscures its identity by its perfect imitation of the calls of other birds. A common resident breeder in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and parts of Southeast Asia, Leafbirds build open cup-shaped nests out of fine stems, leaf parts and rootlets.
