The Rock Eagle Owl (Bubo bengalensis), also known as the Indian Eagle Owl or the Bengal Eagle Owl, is a fairly large owl with prominent brown ear-tufts. Dark and light morphs of this bird occur. The female's song is similar, with a slightly higher pitch. It is found in the West Himalayas, Pakistan, throughout India, Kashmir, Nepal, Assam and Burma.
