The term “mousebird” comes from its ability to move along the ground in a way that resembles the scurrying of a mouse. There are six species: Blue-naped mousebird, Red-backed mousebird, Red-faced mousebird, Speckled mousebird, White-backed mousebird, White-headed mousebird.
