The pink-necked green pigeon (Treron vernans) has pastel rainbow plumage and is named for the prominent pink neck on the male, which is absent in the female. The green refers to the green plumage shared by all species in the Treron genus. It's not a vocal pigeon, instead producing whistling and quacking sounds rather than coos. It is common in Southeast Asia, found from Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam south through to the major islands of Indonesia and the Philippines.
