The Orange-chinned Parakeet (Brotogeris jugularis) is named after the small bright-orange patch of feathers under its beak. It ranges from southern Mexico, through Central America into the South American countries of Colombia and Venezuela, going as far as north-eastern Peru. Also known as Bee-bee Parrot or Tovi Parakeet, it has the most northerly range of the brotogeris family. Male and female look identical.
