The Visayan hornbill (Penelopides panini) is named after Visayas, one of the Philippines' three main island groups. It is found in rainforests on the islands of Panay, Negros, Masbate, and Guimaras, and formerly Ticao, in the Philippines. The male has a creamy-white head, neck and upper breast, turning rufous on the lower breast. The female is smaller than the male and black all over, except for the tail.
