A small titmouse with a dashing swirl of black and white on its face, the bridled titmouse (Baeolophus wollweberi ) is active in southwestern US woodlands. The Bridled Titmouse is the smallest North American Titmouse. The titmouse name derives from the Old English words "tit" and "mase," basically meaning "small bird.
