The white-faced whistling duck (Dendrocygna viduata), also known as White Faced tree Duck or White Faced Duck, is a whistling duck that breeds in sub-Saharan Africa and much of South America. Named for its high-pitched whistling calls, it is active mainly at night where it feeds by wading, swimming or diving.
