The crested hawk-eagle (Nisaetus cirrhatus), also known as the changeable hawk-eagle, occurs in the Indian subcontinent, southern and southeast Asia. It inhabits dense forests, deciduous woods and savanna dotted with tall trees. The Crested Hawk Eagle call is a shrill repetitive scream, and is more vocal during the breeding season.
