The goblet-marked damselfly (Erythromma lindenii), is named because males have a unique goblet-shaped mark on S2. Also known as the blue-eye, it is a medium-sized blue-and-black (or green-and-black) damselfly in the pond damselfly family (Coenagrionidae). It's fairly common in the South and West of Europe. It has wide antehumeral stripes, narrow postocular spots, and the male has very bright-blue eyes. Females are rather dull with a blue middle to their abdomen.
