Red breasted flycatcher (Ficedula parva) male, with its orange-red throat patch, is similar to a European Robin, but not related. It breeds in eastern Europe and across central Asia and is migratory, wintering in south Asia. It has a perky manner and prominent eyes highlighted by neat white eye-rings.
