The Amazonian silvery marmoset (Mico argentatus) has a silvery white body, a dark tail with bare ears and face. Silvery marmosets are diurnal and arboreal, using their claws to climb trees in the dense canopy of lowland forests. When threatened the silvery marmoset lowers its eyebrows and makes smacking noises with its lips.
