The grey-headed batis (Batis orientalis) is a small flycatcher-like and shrike-like bird with contrasting black, grey and white colours. Found in eastern and central Africa, it has a greyish black and white striped head. Its natural habitats are dry savanna and subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, arid thornbush and semi desert scrub.
