The Indian silverbill (Euodice malabarica), named for its conical silver-grey bill, is a small passerine bird found in the Indian Subcontinent and adjoining regions. Also known as the white-throated munia, it frequents dry open scrub, fallow land and cultivation, sometimes near water. They forage in large groups of around 60 birds.
