The great thrush (Turdus fuscater) – at 28–35 cm (11–14 in) in length and weighing 128 to 154 g (4.5 to 5.4 oz), it is the largest thrush in the Americas, although a couple of Asian species equal or surpass its size. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. It forages on the forest floor, also in trees or shrubs, mainly eating insects and berries.
