The pale-breasted thrush (Turdus leucomelas) has a distinctly pale or greyish-buff breast and flanks. A common South American bird, similar to an American Robin but browner, it is known for eating mostly fruit. It also forages on the ground, tossing leaves for insects and even catching small lizards. Widespread across eastern and northern South America, it is found in open woodlands, forest edges, gardens, and plantations from Colombia to Argentina.
