The white-crowned robin-chat (Cossypha albicapillus) has a large, pure white or partially black-marked crown and a black mask that extends to its chin whereas the White-browed Robin-Chat has a white eyebrow (supercilium), a black crown, and a black face mask. It inhabits dry savannas, shrublands, gallery forests, and other dense thickets across West Africa, extending from Senegal to Ethiopia.
