Endemic to Ethiopia and Eritrea, the white-billed starling (Onychognathus albirostris) is distinguished from other rufous-winged starlings by its short square tail and white bill. The male has a black head, whereas the female is an ashy-grey. it usually lives in association with cliffs and gorges near waterfalls.
