The rusty-tipped page (Siproeta epaphus) is named for its rusty orange outer forewings. A common butterfly in tropical habitats, it has a black inner portion of the upper wings with a bold white stripe, and the outer part of the forewings is a rusty orange. The underside is similar but paler, with a reddish-brown line. Found from Peru northward through Central America, rusty-tipped pages inhabit wet subtropical forests, forest edges, and riverbanks.
