The Tuberous grey bush-cricket (Platycleis affinis) has the largest testes in relation to body weight of any known creature in the world – 13.8 % of its body mass, which equates to a man hauling around tyre-sized testicles weighing 5 kilograms each. It inhabits dry-warm places of all kinds in Southern Europe.
