The Red-masked Parakeet (Psittacara erythrogenys) is a medium-sized parrot from Ecuador and Peru. They are bright green with a mostly red head making the thick pale eyerings obvious; the neck is generally green. Also known as the Cherry-headed Conure. A feral population is thriving in San Francisco.
